School Delays for Friday morning: Davie, Patrick and Henry County Schools – 2 hour delay

Flood Warning (until 12:45pm): Stokes, Henry and Patrick Counties
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported.

The clean up begins:
Many hours of strong storms that produced at least three tornadoes kept many of us glued to the weather radio last night.
One fatality from the storms last night…a truck overturned because of strong winds in a parking lot in west Greensboro. Severe storms caused damage to businesses near the Sandy Ridge Road area in Guilford County. Greensboro Police have set up a command post at the Farmers Market to assess storm damage. Triad Business Park area closed because of no power. Davie County: Down trees and Power lines in the Advance area
