UPDATE: Almost 4,000 people are believed dead and 3,000 are missing after this weekend's devastating cyclone in Myanmar (the country formerly known as Burma). Leaders in Myanmar are requesting a rare appeal for help.

With Primaries in North Carolina and Indiana, Tuesday may go down as one of the most dramatic voting days in North Carolina. Lots of national attention on the Democratic presidential race. The ballot contains the races for governor among other things. Polls open at 6:30am (until 7:30pm) on Tuesday.

Eat out on Tuesday for a good cause: 135 participating restaurants in Forsyth County will donate 10% of their proceeds to Crisis Control during the 18th annual Hope du Jour tomorrow. http://www.hopedujour.org/

The cost of a first-class stamp will increase to 42 cents starting next Monday, May 12. According to the U.S. Postal Service, the Forever stamp will go up at the same time. However, the Forever stamps can still be purchased this week for 41 cents and can be used as first-class postage even after the rate increase takes effect next Monday.

Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center is honoring nurses this week during National Nurses Week (May 6-12).

THE USE OF ANTI-PSYCHOTOC DRUGS IS SOARING AMONG KIDS IN THE U.S. AND THE UK. According to a new U.K. study American children take anti-psychotic medicines at about six times the rate of children in the U.K.The research also suggests it is likely the drugs are being over-prescribed for both U.S. and U.K. children. Christian artist MATT MAHER NEW PROJECT EMPTY & BEAUTIFUL WILL BE PLAYED ON THE SPACE SHUTTLE DISCOVERY MISSION SCHEDULED FOR LAUNCH LATER THIS MONTH. During Matt's recent VIP tour of NASA Space Center in Houston he commanded a flight in the Space Shuttle simulator. Following the Space Shuttle mission, Matt and his band will receive a certificate of authenticity, as well as a photo of Empty & Beautiful floating in outer space, aboard Discovery.
