An alarming 70% of Americans now believe that divorce is morally acceptable. That’s according to a recent poll by Gallup’s 2008 Values and Beliefs survey. While the recent poll reveals a steady rise in the acceptability of divorce, more than 70% of Americans continued to rate suicide, cloning humans, polygamy, and adultery as morally unacceptable.

Tragic accident in Tyro: Brandon Craver, a senior at West Davidson High School, was killed late Sunday night in a motorcycle accident on Swicegood Road. Two of six suspects charged in connection with the shooting of a Triad convenience store clerk last October will face the death penalty.
