Primary Election Day in North Carolina
Polls will be open until 7:30pm this evening.
Turn out is expected to be highest around supper time.

UPDATE: Government-run radio in Myanmar has updated the death toll from last weekend’s cyclone to over 22,000. UN officials saying that up to a million people in the southeast Asia country are homeless. Some villages and vast rice-growing areas have been wiped out.

According to Save the Children, nearly 10 million kids die annual from treatable ailments like diarrhea and pneumonia.
