Memorial Day
Remembering US service men and women who died in military service to their country. A National Moment of Remembrance takes place at 3 PM Monday afternoon with the US Flag flown at half-mast.
Fact: Memorial Day –began first to honor those that died during the American Civil War. After WWI, it expanded to include those who died in any war or military action.

11 am laying of wreath at Vietnam Memorial on I-85
11:45 am Parade Begins
12:15 pm Free Lunch / Enterainment at Cushw
1:30 pm Stadium / Military Displays
2 pm Parachute Team
2:15 pm Presentations of Honored Families of those who have Lost Love ones
2:45 pm Address by Honored Guest. Laying of Memorial Wreath
