A U.S. Marine in Iraq has been removed from duty after complaints from Iraqis that he was handing out coins with Bible verses. The ‘witness’ coins were printed in Arabic and being handed out at a checkpoint in Falluja. Joseph Pevney, the man who directed some of the best-loved episodes of the original "Star Trek" television series, passed away on May 18th. He was 96.
Pevney directed 14 episodes of the 1960s series, including "The City on the Edge of Forever," in which Capt. Kirk and Spock travel back in time to the Depression Era… and "The Trouble With Tribbles," in which the starship Enterprise is infested with cute, furry creatures.
