GAS PRICES UP FOUR CENTS OVERNIGHT…Triple A says the national average price for regular unleaded increased to $1.72. That's about a penny more a gallon than what we were paying one month ago.

Discount clothing chain Goody's Family Clothing will begin liquidating its stores this Friday. The move comes less than 4 months after Goody’s successfully emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. NC State women's basketball coach Kay Yow will not return this season due to health issues related to her fight with cancer. The 66-year-old coach is battling a recurrence of the breast cancer. Yow was diagnosed with in 1987. www.wxii12.com/sports/18420977/detail.html

Pull out the family china. Dust off that old rocking chair. "Antiques Roadshow" is coming to North Carolina. Antiques Roadshow will make a stop in Raleigh on June 27. Admission to the show is free, but advance tickets are required. Ticket holders are allowed to bring two items for a free verbal evaluation by experts from leading auction houses and by independent appraisers and dealers. "Antiques Roadshow" airs Monday nights at 8pm on UNC-TV.

Mike Cliff, the High School principal at High Point Christian Academy, his wife and four children were injured in a car accident two days before Christmas. Cliff who lost control of his van on an iced over highway near Cleveland, Ohio and crashed. Half of the family is still in the hospital in Cleveland. Check out the updated Fox 8 story:
