Update on that deadly shooting in Mt Airy yesterday afternoon. Police arrested Marcos Gonzalez early this morning without incident in a Henry County Virginia motel room. Gonzalez was arrested on four counts of first-degree murder. The deadly shooting took place less than a mile from the city police station…in the parking lot of Wood's TV on Worth St. in the historic district of Mount Airy. Police believe that Gonzalez knew his victims, but they are not releasing the motive for the shootings. A dozen witnesses to the shooting.

Speedway Associates Inc, a group of race-industry veterans, has signed a 3-year lease of the North Wilkesboro Speedway with an exclusive option to buy the track.
