From the makers of Facing the Giants and Fireproof…COURAGEOUS: The movie
Honor begins at home! Four men, one calling: To serve and protect. As law enforcement officers, they face danger every day. Yet when tragedy strikes close to home, these fathers are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, and their faith. With action, drama, and humor, the fourth film from Sherwood Pictures embraces God’s promise to "turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers." Souls will be stirred, and hearts will be challenged to be ... courageous!

MADD or Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, held a banquet for local law enforcement Sunday to thank them for their work in the community. The group says law enforcement is the greatest tool in keeping drunk drivers off the road. Families who lost loved ones to ‘drunk driving’ accidents were remembered as well during the ceremony. North Carolina has been ranked fifth with the most ‘drunk drivers’ on the road in the nation. Craig Lloyd, the Executive Director MADD's in our state, said that the holiday season is the perfect time to honor officers. "Between Thanksgiving and New Year's is the most dangerous time of year. It's typically when we have the most fatalities and injuries as it relates to DWI." www.madd.org/NC
