The IRS saying that 7 of 10 Carolinians now e-file. The number of taxpayers in North and South Carolina filing their returns online hit a record 2.8 million in 2009 for the 2008 tax year, a growth rate of 5.1 percent, according to an announcement from the IRS. Day Two: ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Today is ‘Demolition’ day
Yesterday, The Creasey family (Tricia, William, Brittany, Makenzie and Makayla) were chosen as the ‘build family’ for ABC’s "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." FYI: Starting Friday, volunteers and spectators are encouraged to bring ‘non-perishable / canned food items to the ‘build’ site. The food drive continues through Nov 17 at the build site in Lexington.

The American Cancer Society is hosting a special Relay for Life event at Central Davidson High School starting around 2pm this afternoon and continuing until 2pm Friday afternoon. The event is in honor of Tricia Creasey, who is battling stage four cancer who will be featured on the ABC television show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." Portions of the Relay for Life event will be filmed by the ‘Extreme’ crew and will be included when the program airs in a few months!
