Did you brushed your teeth this morning…so where was your toothpaste made? The FDA is continuing to warning consumers to avoid toothpaste made in China because of reports that the products (among other things) may contain a thickening agent used in antifreeze. The FDA was not aware of any poisoning but found toothpaste with the chemical in a shipment at two bargain retail stores…one in Miami and another in Puerto Rico. (USA Radio News)

Tropical Storm Barry bringing some welcome rain to parts of Florida, Georgia and North Carolina over the weekend.
Most of the Triad getting over an inch of rain Saturday and Sunday.

An ordinance restricting the number of flags allowed up for display has some business owners in NC seeing a lot of red…and not as much white and blue.
Raleigh has limited the number of American flags — and any other banners or signs — to three per property. The city-imposed deadline was Sunday to remove any flags (over the allotted 3) or pay a fine of $500 per day will be charged to anyone in violation of the policy.
