The oldest living person has died: Yone Min-a-gaw-a, from Japan, was born on January 4, 1893. She was declared the oldest living person in the world back in January
at age 114… Yone Min-a-gaw-a outlived all of her children except one daughter, and had seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
-Yone was listed as the oldest known person by the Guinness Book of World Records following the death of Emma Faust Tillman, also 114, from the US.
-Japan has one of the world's longest average life spans…one of the factors to the long life... a healthy diet rich in fish and rice. In 2006, Japanese women set a new record for life expectancy at 85 years, while men live an average of about 79 years. (CNN)
