One fatality and 11 others injured yesterday morning after a truck and a church van collided on Highway 601 in Davie County. Norma Shore, a passenger in the van and a volunteer at Charity Baptist Church in Boonville, died in the crash. Norma was one of three adults taking a group of eight teenagers to Fort Caswell, a Baptist retreat center, at Oak Island.
