WBFJ Morning News Update

Thursday, August 30, 2007
The Guilford County school board is considering moving most after school programs to 6pm on school days. Any after school clubs such as the Boy scouts and Girl Scouts, Mad Science, Boys and Girls Clubs and YMCA activities, or anyone else would be denied access to school facilities for club use. Plus, these groups will not be able to pass out literature to inform students of the after school opportunities. After school programs operated by school system employees on public school property would continue.
The Guilford County Board of Education will meet tonight at 6 pm in the Board Room of the Administrative Offices on Eugene Street in Greensboro. http://www.gcsnc.com/district_events/events_detail.aspx?e_id=110
