The U.S. Department of Transportation has ordered the immediate inspection of 756 bridges around the country of similar design to the one that collapsed on Wednesday in Minneapolis.
Crews were repaving portions of the Bottom of Formeight-lane I-35W bridge when it literally fell to the ground late Wednesday afternoon during rush hour.

Most of the Iraqi Soccer Team who recently beat Saudi Arabia in the Asian Cup is back home but most Baghdad residents were barred from the homecoming celebration because of security. Three of the team members elected not to make the trip because they feared for their lives.
