Elmo’s Tub Sub and Dora’s Talking House are included in the latest recall from toy-maker Mattel. Close to a million Fisher Price toys that were made in China are being recalled because the paint on the toys contains excessive amounts of lead.

The U.S. Department of Transportation has ordered the immediate inspection of 756 bridges around the country of similar design to the one that collapsed on Wednesday in Minneapolis.
Crews were repaving portions of the Bottom of Formeight-lane I-35W bridge when it literally fell to the ground late Wednesday afternoon during rush hour.

The Alliance Defense Fund has begun distributing informational letters to thousands of local governments across the US to inform local city leaders on the constitutional right to offer voluntary prayer at public meetings. Most of the Iraqi Soccer Team who recently beat Saudi Arabia in the Asian Cup is back home but most Baghdad residents were barred from the homecoming celebration because of security. Three of the team members elected not to make the trip because they feared for their lives.
