RESIDENTS OF CENTRAL ARKANSAS ARE CLEANING UP THIS MORNING AFTER STRONG STORMS HIT that area overnight. The hardest hit…parts of Saline County which is about 12 miles west of Little Rock. A line of severe storms that extends from Texas to West Virginia is making its way to North Carolina. The National Weather Service is warning of severe thunderstorms, heavy rain, and possible flooding for those states in the path of the storms. (http://www.weather.com/)

Today marks the 40th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In Winston-Salem…there will be a candle light vigil this evening starting at 6:01pm…along MLK Drive from 5th street to New Walkertown Road.
