The increase in food prices worldwide is creating a “silent tsunami’…so says the executive director of the UN’s World Food Program. High food prices have sparked violent protests in more than 30 countries around the world.

The Presidential Primary in Pennsylvania goes to Clinton and McCain. Hillary Clinton will pick up a majority of the state's 158 delegates. The next two presidential primaries: Indiana and North Carolina. Registered voters in North Carolina can vote EARLY. Early voting going on now through May 3. The North Carolina Primary is Tuesday, May 6th.

According to new research, women can influence the gender of their child with what they eat. Scientists at Britain's Oxford University studied the eating habits of 740 women during their first-time pregnancies. THE HEAD OF THE FCC SAYS NO NEW REGULATIONS ARE NEEDED FOR THE INTERNET. Kevin Martin told the Senate Commerce Committee there are enough regulations in place protecting consumer access to the Web. He says those regulations must simply be enforced.
