Voters in Pennsylvania head to the polls today for that state's primary.
The much talked about debate between HILLARY CLINTON AND BARACK OBAMA in Raleigh on Sunday…has been called off.
Registered voters in North Carolina can vote EARLY: now through May 3. The North Carolina Primary is Tuesday, May 6th.

A ‘Good Samaritan’ likely saved two teenagers' lives after their car flipped into a creek yesterday. Authorities say the teenagers lost control of their car and it flipped off the side of New Walkertown Road on Monday. The car landed face down in Brushy Fork Creek trapping the teenagers under the vehicle.Timothy Beecher jumped into about four feet of water to pull the teenagers to safety. According to police, Beecher likely saved the teens' lives. Both victims were taken to the hospital but are expected to be okay. (Winston-Salem Journal)

Leon Brown said he forgives the man who shot him last week in a Trinity convenience store parking lot. Brown is the Pastor of Fellowship Holiness Church in Rutherford County. He and his wife were on their way to Duke University Hospital last Thursday when they stopped at the Quik Shop Gas Stop on Finch Farm Road off Interstate 85. Detectives said Brown was robbed then shot by a man who had just bought some soft drinks in the store.Police have charged Mitchell McCoy of High Point with the shooting. Brown was shot in the arm, and the bullet reportedly went into his chest, collapsing one of his lungs before stopping next to his heart.Quote from Pastor Brown. "I just hated it happened, my first thoughts were he needed Jesus in his heart." (Fox 8)

An eighth-grader at Morton Middle School in Lexington, Kentucky is accused of putting peanut butter cookie crumbs in the lunchbox of a classmate. The classmate has a severe peanut allergy.
The allergic student did not eat the cookies. The accused student will face charges in the juvenile court system. It was well known that the other student suffered allergies. For those allergic to peanuts, trace amounts of peanut oil can cause severe reactions and even death.

The Boston Marathon: A Kenyan (Robert Cheruiyot) won his 4th Boston Marathon yesterday. Cyclist Lance Armstrong ran his first Boston Marathon on Monday. He said that there is NO comparison between cycling and running.
