Special Olympics of Davidson County is needing close to 300 volunteers for the upcoming Spring Games happening locally on April 19, 25 and 26. Volunteers must attend mandatory orientation sessions. Powerful storms moved through parts of Texas and Oklahoma yesterday destroying several homes and knocking out power for thousands. There were even unconfirmed reports of tornadoes. Some injuries and at least one death connected to the storms.
