The funeral service to celebrate the life of Nick Doub will take place later today at Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem.  Visitation will be from 4 - 6pm…The funeral will begin at 6:30pm.  Nick Doub is the Reagan High School senior who passed away last Sunday night after being seriously injured in a single car crash last Thursday morning…on his way to school. He was 18 years old. Friends and family are wearing ‘Red’ this week in memory of Nick.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Reagan High School. The funds will be distributed between the American Red Cross, a scholarship fund in Nick’s name…and to help the family offset medical expenses. Details on Caring Bridge: www.caringbridge.org/visit/nickdoub

Ted Williams, the golden-voiced homeless man-turned-celeb, is on his way to rehab. During a taping of the Dr. Phil Show on Wednesday in Los Angeles, Ted Williams, with his family's support, said he has decided to enter a private rehabilitation treatment facility for his alcohol and drug dependency.  Williams came to the conclusion following a lengthy one-on-one conversation with Dr. Phil, which will air later today.   http://www.myfox8.com/entertainment/ktla-ted-williams-homeless-detained-los-angeles,0,3402558.story

A female student was found dead inside her dorm room at Winston-Salem State University on Wednesday. The sophomore student, who was not identified because family had not been notified, was found dead in Wilson Hall by her roommate early yesterday evening.
