Now you can enjoy an even BIGGER cup of brew at Starbucks.  Starbucks is introducing their new ‘Trenta’ size cup, which is just shy of a QUART, in several states including North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The new ‘Trenta’ (means 30 in Italian) is 7 ounces larger than the Venti and is expected to cost 50 cents more. Trinta will hit the the rest of the country by early May.


Watch your temper, it cost you an apartment? A man who lost his home after being injured in a fight has won an apartment building in a lawsuit against the man who injured him in an argument. The News & Record of Greensboro reported that 56-year-old Charles McKinnon, a painter and draftsman, plans to sell the apartment building he received in a lawsuit to pay his medical bills and his attorney. http://www.wxii12.com/news/26515635/detail.html

SPORTS: Temper ‘down under’ for NASCAR driver Tony Stewart. Stewart got into some trouble while racing in Australia after a fight with a track owner. The altercation ended with Stewart getting a black eye. He was questioned by police but was not arrested.

New additions: Ricky Proehl (played for Wake Forest and Carolina Panthers stand out) heads the latest class of Sports figures elected into the NC Sports Hall of Fame -class of 2011. also included in the Class of 2011: Dale Jarrett (NASCAR driver and broadcaster) and the late Gene Overby. A banquet is scheduled for May 12 in Raleigh.
