The body of Anna Nicole Smith will be buried in the Bahamas next to her son. Smith's mother saying that she will not appeal the ruling.

NASA will not be able to launch the next space shuttle mission in March as planned because the shuttle Atlantis sustained damage from a sever hail storm earlier this week. Golf ball-sized chunks of ice pelted Atlantis on Monday. NASA officials saying that the shuttle will be rolled back to a hangar for repairs.

Historian and Pulitzer Prize winner Arthur Schlesinger Jr.
died of a heart attack in Manhattan last night. He was 89.

Counterfeit medicines, some of them sold over the Internet, are swamping unregulated markets in developing nations with sometimes fatal results.
In a 2006 report by the International Narcotics Control Board …Some 25 to 50% of the medicines used in developing countries are now believed to be fake.

A survey of over 80,000 students in 26 states found that a majority of U.S. high school students say they get bored in class every day. Indiana University researchers finding that one out of five High School students has considered dropping out. Officials hoping to crack down on bicycle thieves in China:
