A terrible crash near Atlanta this morning.
A charter bus carrying the Bluffton University baseball team fell from an overpass onto Interstate 75 early this morning…just north of downtown Atlanta. There were 35 people on the bus… At least 6 fatalities…nine people were listed in serious condition. The team from Ohio was scheduled to play in a tournament in Fort Myers, Florida. http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/03/02/bus.accident/index.html


Strong storms and yes tornadoes ripping through Alabama, Georgia late yesterday. One tornado tore through a High School in Enterprise, Alabama…killing at least 7 people. Death toll has risen to 20. http://www.usaradio.com/news_details.php?catid=1&storyid=1122

A powerful winter storm hitting the Plains and Midwest on Thursday…
shutting down hundreds of miles of interstate roads.
Blizzard like conditions closed schools in several states…hundreds of flights were canceled. -Omaha, Nebraska received a foot of snow. www.weather.com

The body of Anna Nicole Smith will be laid to rest later this morning in the Bahamas. 300 guests have been invited to…what some are calling an “over-the –top” Memorial service. http://www.usaradio.com/news_details.php?catid=1&storyid=1144

Some Good news: Jennifer Mee, the Florida teen who hiccupped for close to 5 weeks now has some relief. She sipped pickle juice, held her breath and even went to a neurologist, but since January 23 nothing would stop the hiccups…until Wednesday…when they just stopped on their own.
-According to the National Institutes of Health, hiccups can be triggered by anything from spicy foods to stress, and they can start for no reason at all.

The skies should be clear for the total Lunar Eclipse that will be visible starting after sunset Saturday night. A Lunar Eclipse happens when the earth passes directly between the sun and the moon. ACC Basketball: UNC falling to Georgia Tech. Virginia over Virginia Tech.

Southern Conference Tournament (Charleston, SC)
-ASU rolling over Western Carolina. UNC-G falls to Furman
-Semi-Finals today: ASU will play College of Charleston. Davidson vs Furman.

-Women’s ACC Basketball Tournament through the weekend (Greensboro)
