Warm weather = higher gas prices?

WXII 12 News morning anchor Tolly Carr was charged with driving while impaired after the vehicle he was driving struck and killed a pedestrian on West First Street in downtown Winston-Salem early Sunday morning.
According to Winston-Salem police…further charges may be pending against the 32-year-old Carr. It was the city's 4th traffic fatality of 2007.

ConAgra Foods has extended its recall of all Peter Pan peanut butter and all Great Value peanut butter back to 2004 beginning with product code 21-11… including peanut butter toppings. Any peanut butter matching the recall, regardless of the date, can be returned to the place of purchase, or customers can send the lid to ConAgra for a refund.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 425 people have gotten sick from the outbreak of salmonella from peanut butter manufactured at

Franklin Graham, head of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association disclosed Saturday that his youngest son, Capt. Edward Graham, an Army Ranger, has just been injured in Iraq, according to a report in the Charlotte Observer.
"He got shrapnel in his arms, legs and back," a Graham spokesman said. "And he was recovering...in a hospital that can't be named for security reasons."
Reportedly, the wounds to the 27-year-old captain were not "life threatening."

A familiar scent during sleep may help boost memory.
The study found that medical students who slept in rooms with a rose scent scored higher on a card memory test than those who weren't exposed to the rose scent. The memory improvement only occurred during a deep stage of sleep called slow-wave sleep. The German study published in the journal Science.
