Praise…A Missing Boy Scout was found safe but disoriented:
Congrats to all of the people involved in the search for Michael including
Misha Marshall and her 2-year-old Shiloh shepherd called Gandalf who picked up the boy's scent about a mile from the camp site.
12-year-old Michael Auberry is re-cooperating after being rescued yesterday just before noon. Michael disappeared Saturday afternoon while camping with his Boy Scout troop at Doughton Park in Wilkes County
-The boy’s father said that Michael left his troop on Saturday to try and hitch-hike home…saying that he was ‘homesick’.
The boy's father had talked about one of Michael's favorite books when he was younger, titled "Hatchet" …a story about a boy whose plane crashes in the wilderness, and how the boy survives on his own.
One of Michael’s concerns…"He's worried about make-up work in Miss Self's class." Michael Auberry is a sixth-grader at Mendenhall Middle School.

A school bus accident in Winston-Salem which sent three children and a driver to the hospital yesterday afternoon. The bus was hit from behind and overturned on its side on Indiana Avenue. http://www.wxii12.com/news/11309301/detail.html

Flood Victims in central Mozambique are finally able to head home.
Conditions in the flooded areas are still unsanitary. Stagnant water is becoming a major breeding ground for mosquitoes…and malaria.
To help with the rebuilding efforts, Operation Blessing and German partner
Hu-medica are providing food, water and "family start-up kits."

Christian writer and speaker Max Lucado has said that he will step down as senior pastor of Oak Hills Church in San Antonio due to a heart ailment.
Because of fatigue, Lucado will continue preaching on weekends for now, but will opt out of weekly duties.
Lucado ( 51 ) reflecting in a Baptist Press report that “his spiritual heart is in a wonderful state, where his physical heart has developed some irregularities”.

Un-churched Population Nears 100 Million in the U.S.
One out of every three adults meets that qualification for being considered "un-churched." The latest study from The Barna Group indicates that since 1994, adults who have stayed away from churches for six months has remained constant.
The Asian population in the US are un-churched at an alarming 63%.

Homeschoolers from around the state will travel to Raleigh on Tuesday, March 27 to meet with their representatives during Capital Fest 2007.

Butch Davis (head football coach at Carolina) is undergoing chemotherapy after a small cancerous spot was found in his mouth during a routine trip to the dentist.

-NIT: The Wolfpack’s season is over. West Virginia over NC State last night.
-Lady Blue Devils hold on beating Temple…to advance to the Sweet 16.
ACC Women’s teams State and Carolina winning as well.

NC-AA Tournament time: Sweet 16…UNC is the only ACC team left.
Tarheels will play USC on Friday (at the Meadowlands)
