An Amber Alert has been issued for Chesney Anne Gaskin…a missing three year old. The Sampson County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a female driving a Gold Chevy Malibu with a Washington State license plate # 1 1 3-Y A E. Charlotte police have released surveillance images of a man who they said left a baby in a southwest Charlotte McDonald's Wednesday morning. The baby boy was found in a car seat (unharmed) in the women's restroom of the McDonald’s. The infant, who was taken to Carolinas Medical Center for observation, was about two or three hours old when he was found.

The FDA has put a ‘hold’ on Chinese food products made with milk. The federal hold order is a precaution to keep out foods including snacks, drinks and chocolates possibly contaminated with the industrial chemical melamine which can cause serious kidney problems. www.npr.org/newsinbrief/index.html
