Officials with the state DOT saying to watch out for deer. In the past two years, deer-related accidents have resulted in more than 3,000 people being injured and 17 people being killed. Car / deer collisions most often happen between October and December. A Florida kindergarten teacher was suspended for polling her students on whether an autistic boy should remain in her class. Five year old Alex Barton lost the vote 14 to 2. Barton, a former student at Morningside Elementary School in Port St. Lucie, Fla., had received two discipline referrals to the principal's office in May 21. The school was aware that Alex was in the process of being tested for Asperger's Syndrome. The St. Lucie County School Board voted unanimously to suspend the teacher, Wendy Portillo, for one year without pay. Portillo, the teacher, took Alex to the front of the class and asked students to tell the boy what they didn't like about his behavior and how it impacted them. Alex said the teacher allowed his classmates to call him "disgusting" and "annoying." Melissa Barton, the boy's mother, is planning a civil lawsuit. Alex is now being homeschooled. POLICE IN LAKELAND, FLORIDA SAY THEY WERE ABLE TO TRACK DOWN THE MAN SUSPECTED OF ROBBING A LOCAL SOUTHERN BAPTIST CHURCH OF ITS OFFERING….BY THE VISITOR CARD HE HAD FILLED OUT THE PREVIOUS SUNDAY. That's right, the suspected thief filled out his name and his mother's home address on the visitor card he dropped in the offering plate. The Associated Baptist Press reports a thief grabbed the Sunday offering from the treasurer at Crystal Lake Baptist Church in Lakeland.The treasurer, by the way, happened to be the stepmother of the county sheriff.The 28-year old suspect was arrested one day after allegedly stealing the money.

The Hottest annual event in Cincinnati happens on Tuesday…Turkey Bowling? The annual outdoor event uses frozen turkeys in place of bowling balls. Contestants will try to knock down 10 pins by sliding frozen turkeys down a lane using the city’s ice skating rink. The person with the highest score after three rounds wins $100 cash and "WKRP in Cincinnati" DVD box set including the series' famous "Turkeys Away" episode. BTW: The frozen birds used in Turkey Bowl are discarded store turkeys not intended for anyone's table.

Pre-Thanksgiving Blessings: Agape Faith Church hosted over 350 families during their annual Pre Thanksgiving worship service yesterday. After the service, members of the congregation distributed Thanksgiving dinners for the families to enjoy this Thursday.
