FORMER FIRST LADY BARBARA BUSH IS SAID TO BE IN "GREAT SPIRITS" FOLLOWING SURGERY FOR AN ULCER ON WEDNESDAY. The Houston Chronicle reports that the 83-year old Mrs. Bush is expected to remain at Methodist Hospital in Houston for several days.
