Today is ‘Black Friday’…one of the busiest shopping days of the year. According to the National Retail Federation, as many as 128 million people will be out shopping this weekend.

A STANDOFF BETWEEN MILITARY FORCES AND ISLAMIC TERRORISTS CONTINUES IN INDIA. The terrorists launched an attack at various locations in the city of Mumbai (India’s financial hub) on Wednesday. At least 120 people have lost their lives.

IRAQ'S PARLIAMENT HAS APPROVED A PLAN TO KEEP U.S. TROOPS IN THE COUNTRY FOR THREE MORE YEARS. The new deal replaces a U.N. mandate that expires at the end of this year.

JC PENNEY IS RECALLING THOUSANDS OF PAIRS OF ARIZONA BRAND NEWBORN AND INFANT DENIM PANTS. The reason: the metal snap on the waist of the pants poses a choking hazard to infants. FORMER FIRST LADY BARBARA BUSH IS SAID TO BE IN "GREAT SPIRITS" FOLLOWING SURGERY FOR AN ULCER ON WEDNESDAY. The Houston Chronicle reports that the 83-year old Mrs. Bush is expected to remain at Methodist Hospital in Houston for several days.

The Space Shuttle Endeavour will separate from the International Space Station later this morning…with a scheduled touch down at Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Sunday.
