JC PENNEY IS RECALLING THOUSANDS OF PAIRS OF ARIZONA BRAND NEWBORN AND INFANT DENIM PANTS. The reason: the metal snap on the waist of the pants poses a choking hazard to infants. Triple A is expecting a slight decline in travel this Thanksgiving. An estimated 41 million people are expected to travel 50 miles or more from their homes this Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The Winston-Salem / Forsyth County Board of Education is urging teachers to avoid web contact with students. A ‘professional conduct’ guidelines policy has been adopted to discourage employees from communicating with students on social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace. Employees who violate the new policy could be fired or have their professional licenses revoked.

Former First Lady Barbara Bush spending the night in the hospital after complaining of quote a "little bit of pain." Barbara Bush is 83-years old.

The parents of Amar Mushar Wilson Jr. took their two month old to Forsyth Medical Center yesterday evening just after 7p.m. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. An autopsy is pending. Police have charged the boy’s father with felony child abuse.

AN ALREADY POPULAR SERIES OF CHILDRENS BOOKS IS ENJOYING SUCCESS WITH A NEW LINE OF FAITH-BASED TITLES. The books are written by Michael Berenstain, whose parents, Stan and Jan, began the series. Stan Berenstain died in 2005. Michael has been working with his mom on the books since then.
