Former WXII News anchor Tolly Carr reached an undisclosed settlement yesterday…agreeing to make payments to the family of Casey Bokhoven, the man Carr hit and killed while he was driving while impaired in March of 2007. Carr is scheduled to be released from prison next May.

Nearly half the respondents in a survey of primary care physicians in the US saying that they would seriously consider getting out of the medical business within the next three years if they had an alternative. Many said they are overwhelmed with red tape from insurance companies and government agencies. Questionnaires were sent to more than 150,000 doctors nationwide.
