ELECTION OFFICIALS IN VENEZUELA SAY PRESIDENT HUGO CHAVEZ HAS WON A REFERENDUM ON LIFTING TERM LIMITS. The victory means that Chavez will now be able to stay in office as long as he continues to win elections.

Nuclear-armed submarines from Britain and France collided deep under the Atlantic Ocean earlier this month, causing damage to both vessels but releasing no radioactivity. Two Triad TV stations will make the switch to digital this week. WXLV (ABC - 45) and WMYV (MyNetwork - 48) will go digital on Tuesday. The switch to digital will not affect you if you have cable or satellite. Across North Carolina, 13 of the 50 TV stations will make the switch on Tuesday. The new transition to digital date is June 12th.

African honey bees, or "killer bees," were recently discovered for the first time in Utah’s in Washington and Kane counties. OFFICIALS ARE TRYING TO DETERMINE WHAT CAUSED A LARGE FIREBALL IN THE TEXAS SKY ON SUNDAY MORNING. It was seen by people across Texas with some people in the eastern part of Texas also reported a sonic boom. The Joint Space Operations Center doesn't believe that the fireball was from any of the 18,000 man-made objects it monitors.

The pro-marriage movie ‘FIREPROOF’ won the ‘Epiphany Prize for Most Inspiring Movie of 2008’.
