There is already a law against teenagers from talking on a cell phone while driving. Now some lawmakers in Raleigh want to stop all drivers from text messaging. A local aircraft maintenance services and sales company is expanding. Piedmont Aviation Component Services LLC is relocating its sister company, Limco, to its Kernersville location bringing 120 new jobs to Forsyth County. Auto insurance companies in North Carolina are asking for a 1.4% rate increase. The annual request comes despite the North Carolina Rate Bureau's appeal of a state order in 2008 to decrease auto insurance rates by 16.1%.

FBI agents raiding a Georgia peanut butter plant yesterday due to an ongoing investigation into tainted peanut butter that is the source of a nationwide salmonella outbreak. The death toll from wildfires in southeastern Australia has climbed to 181. The latest wildfires have consumed hundreds-of-thousands of acres and more than 900 homes. Arson is suspected in some of the fires.

A western Michigan Man has been reunited with his class ring after a 40 year absence. A stranger actually returned Richard Parker’s missing class ring last week. Parker graduated High School in 1966. He soon married and boxed up the class ring and forgot about it.
