The parents of an Ohio teenager who claims her father threatened to kill her because she converted from Islam to Christianity denied Thursday all allegations against them. 17 year old Rifqa Bary ran away from her family in Columbus, Ohio to Orlando, Florida, in July because of alleged death threats. The parents could not attend the hearing in person but listened through a telephone conference as their lawyer spoke for them. They denied they ever threatened to kill their daughter because she converted to Christianity

CHILDREN WITH CERTAIN SERIOUS MEDICAL CONDITIONS SHOULD BE AT THE FRONT OF THE LINE FOR THE SWINE FLU VACCINATION WHEN IT BECOMES AVAILABLE, SAYS THE CDC. The CDC is recommending that all school children, pregnant women, and everyone with underlying health conditions be vaccinated against the virus.
Examples of underlying health conditions cited by the CDC include asthma, diabetes, lung or heart disease. The CDC says it expects that vaccination to be available by about mid-October

According to a study, the peak time for North Americans to surf the web this summer is 11am Eastern. That appears to be a shift from previous years, when most Internet activity was in the daytime. The least activity on the internet is 4 pm Eastern time on weekdays. Gaming is another big evening activity, most intense between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. Eastern, coinciding with TV's prime time for most Americans.
