New this morning: A 6.1 magnitude earthquake hit about 41 miles south of Concepcion, Chile. The earthquake struck in the same area as an 8.8-magnitude quake in February.

A new study commissioned by World Vision, finding that since the natural disasters in Haiti and Chile, teenagers are nearly twice as likely to donate money to charity. The study finding that U.S. parents of teens say their teenagers are now more aware of the needs of others because of these natural disasters.

The US Army rescinded its invitation to evangelist Franklin Graham for the upcoming National Day of Prayer events at the Pentagon over controversial remarks he made about Islam.
