Toyota Motor Corp. is recalling some 34,000 new Lexus GX 460 SUVs because of an increased risk of rollover. Toyota recently suspended sales of the luxury SUV after a report by Consumer Reports on April 13th. (CNNMoney.com) Also, Toyota also has agreed to pay a record $16.4 million dollar fine

One of the men accused of fatally wounding UNC student body president Eve Carson has pleaded guilty to several Federal charges including carjacking resulting in death and kidnapping. With the guilty plea, Demario Atwater will face life in prison and avoid the death penalty.

According to the Pew Research Center (new survey)...
One in three teens send more than 100 texts a day.
-75% of 12- to 17-year-olds own cell phones, up from 45 percent in 2004
-FYI: Girls use cell phones more than boys do.
-43 percent of teens reported sending at least 1 text message from class a day

Blue Devil Forward Kyle Singler will return to Duke for his senior season. Singler was named the MVP of the Final Four after scoring a game-high 19 points in Duke's 61-59 victory over Butler in the NCAA championship game on April 5 in Indianapolis
