Another band of severe thunderstorms rolling across the South early this morning, injuring at least one person in Louisiana. Yesterday, the small town of Magee, Mississippi town was devastated by a tornado…with winds estimated at 150mph.

MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDERS HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR PARTS OF FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA AFTER FLOOD WATERS STARTED ERODING SECTIONS OF THE DIKES BUILT TO CONTAIN THE RISING RED RIVER. National Weather Service warned the Red River could crest as high as 43 feet. That's 2 feet higher than earlier predicted.

According to Triple-A: Gas prices back up over $2 dollars a gallon. The national average price for regular unleaded is $2.03.

In light of the debate over snow makeup days, Guilford County school board members voted on a new calendar for the 2009-10 school year.The new calendar would move more optional teacher workdays into the second half of the year. The school calendar vote will be open to public comment at the board's next meeting on Tuesday, April 7.

When 82-year-old Schuller, the founder of the Crystal Cathedral megachurch, recently tried to set up an account on Twitter.com, he discovered another user masquerading as himself.
