The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling in favor of a Texas law allowing students in public schools to observe one minute of silence at the beginning of classes. The moment of silence follows the Pledge of Allegiance. The Alliance Defense Fund filed a friend-of-the-court brief in the case last year. Under the Texas law, no student is compelled to pray.
