The clock is ticking for GM and Chrysler to once again come up with viable business plans. The Obama administration wanting Detroit to refocus before giving out additional federal bailout money. BTW: The Obama administration says it's come to the conclusion that Chrysler needs a corporate partner to remain viable. The White House says if the number three automaker can close a deal with Italy's Fiat car company within 30 days it will provide an additional six billion dollars.

New York City's Tompkins Square Park will be the host of the Unemployment Olympics this afternoon. 26 year old Nick Goddard, a laid-off computer programmer, is the brainchild of the event. The Unemployment Olympics will feature 40 unemployed "athletes" participating in events such as the Fax Machine Toss, the "You're Fired" race and Pin the Blame on the Bosses.
Goddard said. "Originally, my thought was just to make people laugh."Local restaurants and bookstores have donated prizes for the winners.

The fast-moving computer worm is set to spring to life in a new way on Wednesday, April Fool’s Day. The internet worm called Conficker has infected at least 3 million PCs so far.
