Class size, bus stops and an employee dental plan are at risk as Guilford County school officials consider the latest round of budget cuts. The school board is considering increasing class size by one student cutting more than $8 million dollars from the budget. BACK-TO-BACK SUICIDE BOMBINGS IN NORTHERN IRAQ HAVE CLAIMED AT LEAST 30 LIVES. The bombs were detonated just minutes apart from each other earlier today in the town of Talafar which is about 250 miles northwest of Baghdad.

South Korea is on high alert today for more cyber attacks. Officials claiming that North Korea is suspect #1 behind a recent wave of Web site outages in South Korea and in the US.

The city of Los Angeles spent $1.4 million to provide security, traffic control and other services for Michael Jackson's memorial service. AEG Live gave $1 million to the city for that event and other private donors stepped in.

The biggest seller: Michael Jackson’s "Number Ones" collection is the top seller, followed by "Thriller." On Billboard's Hot Digital Songs chart, Jackson holds five out of the top 10 slots, with "Man in the Mirror" leading as his top-selling digital download song of the week. Black bear sighting are on the rise in Guilford County. Yesterday, a bear was spotted in the Trinity Lake neighborhood near Youngs Mill Road and Clovelly Drive around noon. Another sighting came about 90 minutes later near Carriage Run Drive and Alliance Church Road. The sightings started nearly three weeks ago. Since then, animal control has been busy following up calls that now come in nearly every day. For problem bears, you can call Animal Control at 641-5990 or the N.C. A father and son are facing almost $20,000 dollars in fees and fines after New York authorities said they removed about 42 tons of trash from their property. Brookhaven Town officials said they took away tires, car parts, hoses and other trash - about 85,000 pounds in all - piled up on a residential lot in Mastic Beach on eastern Long Island. Seven time champion Lance Armstrong remains close to the leader with the mountain races coming up in the Tour de France. The racing continues through July 26.
