The National Weather Service saying “No outdoor burning today.” Increased Fire Danger this afternoon and evening for central NC including the Triad

Congrats: Trooper Greg Seabolt has been selected as Trooper of the Year by the American Association of State Troopers. Seabolt, a 24-year veteran of the department, is assigned to Troop D, Greensboro. Officials have found the flight data recorder or ‘black box’ from the Yemen jet that crashed in the Indian Ocean on Tuesday. A teenage girl is the only known survivor of the crash. The 14 year old is ‘doing well’ and suffering only bruises from the crash. The girl's father telling reporters that his daughter could barely swim but managed to hang on long enough for rescuers to find her in the Ocean. http://apnews.myway.com/article/20090701/D995J6B00.html

Recall: Dunkin' Donuts has temporarily stopped selling hot chocolate and Dunkaccino brand beverages after learning equipment used at a milk supplier's facility might have been contaminated with salmonella.The company stated that none of its products was contaminated.

An advisory panel for the FDA has voted to recommend greater regulation of acetaminophen -- the most commonly used painkiller in the country. The decisions come in the wake of research revealing that hundreds of Americans each year experience acute liver failure as a result of taking acetaminophen and about 100 people die annually from accidentally overdosing on the painkiller. http://abcnews.go.com/Health/PainManagement/story?id=7965902&page=1

Michael Jackson’s body will be taken to his Neverland Ranch on Thursday in preparation for a public viewing this Friday. A private family service is tentatively set for Sunday. Jackson's hometown of Gary, Indiana, has planned a massive memorial service at a local ballpark for July 10. A personal 'will' from Jackson written in 2002 has surfaced, but it may be one of several.

THE LONG-DISPUTED SENATE RACE IN MINNESOTA BETWEEN REPUBLICAN INCUMBENT NORM COLEMAN AND DEMOCRAT AL FRANKEN IS OVER.
The Minnesota State Supreme Court declaring that former TV comedian Al Franken is the winner of the race. Coleman conceded defeat following the court's decision. DEMOCRATS WILL NOW HAVE A FILIBUSTER-PROOF MAJORITY IN THE SENATE.

The Guilford County Board of Health has passed new local restrictions on smoking in governmental buildings. Smoking will be banned inside PTI as of September 1st.
