Healthcare reform dominated President’s Obama’s address to the nation last night. The president has set an August deadline for Congressional approval of a healthcare reform bill. Some Republican leaders say that's too soon for a measure as large and as expensive as healthcare reform will be.

The town of Hailey, Idaho held a prayer vigil in support of one of their own last night. 23 year old Private First Class Bowe Berg-dahl was captured by Taliban fighters in Afghanistan on June 30th. He is still being held captive. Yellow ribbons have been tied to nearly every tree, light post and stop sign along Main Street, in Hailey, Idaho.

A missile strike in Pakistan has possibly claimed the life of one of Osama Bin-Laden’s sons. The younger bin-Laden was reportedly not a major player but he was likely "in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Sad news: ‘Gidget’ the Chihuahua, the bug-eyed, big-eared star of 1990s Taco Bell commercials who was a diva on and off the screen, has died. She was 15. Gidget suffered a massive stroke late Tuesday night at her trainer's home in Santa Clarita and had to be euthanized.
