Your WBFJ Family Station Forecast: Sunny and warm for your ‘Valentine’s weekend’.
Expect delays along Highway 52 in Winston-Salem this weekend.  At least one lane of Highway 52 will be open at all times to traffic between Glenn Avenue and 28th Street.  Crews are preparing to replace the Liberty Street bridges. ***If you are planning on attending events at the Joel Coliseum officials are suggesting that you follow the detour signs that have been posted. ***Also, expect delays Monday morning if you travel Highway 52 near Liberty Street in Winston-Salem because of the new traffic shift.


The Winston-Salem Dash will hold a ‘Job Fair’ at the ballpark this Saturday from 9am to 2pm. Part-time jobs include: Bat boys, concession workers, ticket takers and cleaning crew positions. George Beverly Shea, the longtime soloist for the Billy Graham Crusades will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammys on Sunday. George Beverly Shea, at 102 years old, is among the oldest living persons to be honored by the Academy. Shea, a native from Canada (like Justin Bieber), has produced over 70 albums of hymns during his 80 year singing career. Shea began his connection with Billy Graham 60 years ago. The 53rd Grammy Awards will air on Sunday at 8pm on CBS.


Cheap date? According to latest ‘Date Night Survey’ from Redbox: 90% of participants consider movie nights at home…a date.   BTW: Redbox is offering a FREE rental on Valentine’s Day (this Monday) through its Facebook page.

A WASHINGTON ETHICS WATCHDOG GROUP IS TARGETING CONGRESSMEN WHO SLEEP IN THEIR OFFICES. The Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington is calling for a formal on whether the practice of ‘an elected official sleeping in their office’ constitutes an improper use of public resources or should be reported as a perk on taxes.  The ethics group says at least 33 lawmakers (26 Republicans and 7 Democrats) regularly sleep in their offices on Capitol Hill.  RnR

PROTESTERS IN EGYPT ARE PLANNING YET ANOTHER DAY OF DEMONSTRATIONS TODAY. According to Al-Jazeera, the plans for today's protests were made last night after Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak once again refused to step down. Over three hundred people have lost their lives so far in the protests.
