A clash between demonstrators for and against Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak today in Cairo. As promised, the military and local police have not stepped in to intervene. Protest are on going even after Mubarak announced that he would not seek re-election. CNN

FORMER MASSACHUSETTS GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY SAYS HE ISN'T SURE YET IF HE SHOULD RUN FOR PRESIDENT, BUT HE THINKS SARAH PALIN SHOULD. Romney said on CNN last night that Palin would bring a lot to the 2012 Republican primary. He said, quote, “She is an extraordinarily powerful and effective voice in our party.”  RnR

Police are looking for suspects in connection with the theft of 14 manhole covers on the east side of High Point. The cast-iron covers weigh around 70 pounds. The city of High Point has already replaced most of the stolen covers at a cost of $75 dollars apiece. Chick-Fil-A under fire?  The New York Times reported over the weekend that pro-homosexual groups have setup an online petition calling on Chick-fil-A to "stop supporting groups perceived as anti-gay…including Focus on the Family." Chick-fil-a has been a longtime supporter of pro-family and Christian organizations. The World Congress of Families is calling for support of corporations that support traditional family values.  RnR

Australians are bracing for a massive cyclone bearing down on the northern state of Queensland. Tropical Cyclone Yasi has strengthened to a Category 5. The Sydney Morning Herald reports the storm is predicted to make landfall around 9 a.m. Eastern Time today. RnR
