Sweet heart of a baby story in Greensboro

Jeremy and Amber Engel from Greensboro have quite the Valentine's Day story to tell…after delivering their baby alongside the road in their mini-van.

Amber's water broke around 5 a.m. She and her husband, Jeremy Engel, waited until someone could come to babysit their 2 1/2-year-old …since visitors under 19 are temporarily not allowed at Moses Cone Hospital.  On their way to Women's Hospital, they got stuck in rush hour traffic.

Around 7:30am, Amber and Jeremy knew that baby Colin was not going to hold on any longer. Jeremy called 911 for assistance. Shortly after Colin was delivered, EMS arrived at the scene and transported Amber to the hospital.

Baby Colin weighed in at 7 pounds, 3 ounces. Mom and baby (and dad) are doing fine.
The Engels planned on giving Colin the middle name Alexander, but they are thinking about changing the middle name to Bryan.
