Support our military and their families at your local CBL and associates Mall location between now and March 12th. You can donate items for a care package, purchase a Heart Felt Salute Bracelet or write letters of encouragement to be sent in care packages to our troops. This Saturday, February 12- Kick-off at each mall with a Letter Writing Campaign. Each mall will be supplied with "Operation Heart Felt Salute", postcards that shoppers can write a note of appreciation to our men & women serving in the military. We will also supply Valentine themed stickers and crayons, so that the children can also get involved. All postcards will be included in our Care Packages we send to our deployed soldiers.
Care Packages for our Troops Drive- We will collect items at each mall locations Mall Office and/or Customer Service Centers. We will have flyers printed with a list of acceptable items that can be distributed via sign holders, mall office, and customer service. We will also have a printable version of the list on our mall websites.
Tunes 4 Troops- We will also collect new and/or used CD's & DVD's as part of the Tunes 4 Troops National Campaign at each center.
Each mall will be provided 1,000-2,000 "Operation Heart Felt Salute" red, white & blue bracelets to sell from the mall office and Customer Service locations. We have challenged each mall team to work with local community groups to sell the bracelets. If we sell all of the bracelet ($1.00 per bracelet) we can raise $20,000.
