Recall: Half a million baby bassinets made by Burlington Basket Co. are being recalled. The problem: the bassinets could collapse, if not assembled properly. The recall involves all bassinets made by the company before June of last year. For more info call 1- 800-553-2300.

Book seller ‘Borders’ is filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy re-organization. The 40-year-old company plans to close about 200 stores nationwide over the next few weeks. Several ‘human charities’ are reaping the rewards of the latest Jeopardy ‘man vs machine’ challenge. Watson, the IBM supercomputer, ended up beating his two human challengers (Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter, two of Jeopardy's biggest former winners).  The grand prize: one million dollars goes to Watson and IBM. Actually, IBM is giving ALL of the money away to two charities. One of those is the Christian relief ministry World Vision. Ken and Brad will donate half of their winnings to charities of their choice. RnR

The Home Builders Association of Winston-Salem presenting the 23rd Annual Triad Home & Garden Show this weekend (Fri-Sun, Feb 18 - 20)) at the Benton Convention Center in downtown Winston-Salem. There will be lots of instructional seminars and more than 120 exhibitors …including a wide variety of green-friendly products and services.
