Good news if you travel through Greensboro:
A new 7.5-mile section of the Greensboro Urban Loop will open mid morning on Thursday. The latest section of the Greensboro Urban Loop runs from I-40 (east of Gallimore Dairy Road) to the I-85 Bypass.
The NC Department of Transportation has set up a website to help motorists including maps.
