Identity thieves are using the promise of federal tax rebates to trick people into handing over their personal and financial information. According to the Internal Revenue Service, scammers, claiming to be from the IRS, are contacting people by phone or e-mail asking for confidential information.The IRS said it never contacts anyone by phone or e-mail. Christian kid club Awana has announced a new focus on kids with a campaign called ‘Project Joseph’ to help kids, parents and churches work together to develop strong "spiritual champions" for Jesus Christ.
