Students will be going back to class today at Northern Illinois University for the first time since February 14th when former NIU graduate student opened fire on students - killing five and wounding 17 - before turning the gun on himself.

An American Airlines passenger struggling to breathe died after asking for assistance twice on a flight from Port-o-Prince, Haiti to New York on Friday.
Carine Desir asked for oxygen but an American Airlines’ flight attendant twice refused her request. Various medical devices on the plane failed, including two oxygen tanks that were found to be empty and what may have been a defibrillator that seemed to malfunction.

The brother of Fidel Castro (RAUL CASTRO) has been officially named the new president of Cuba. In a surprise announcement last week, Fidel Castro relinquished power after nearly 50 years in power.

Singer-songwriter BRANDON HEATH IS ORGANIZING A BENEFIT CONCERT FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE RECENT DEADLY TORNADOES IN TENNESSEE. A free concert is scheduled for this Sunday, March second at Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood, Tennessee. Among those joining Heath will be Bebo Norman and Christy Nockels (Watermark). Strong storms on February 5th left 14 people dead and 150 homes and businesses destroyed.
